Wow, it’s hard to believe that two months have gone by already. We have had a lot of good things happen lately, the Gary Lewis benefit being one of them. We raised over ten thousand dollars for one of our needy members. Thank you to all who helped with this effort.

We also started up our Wednesday evening meals. The turnout and the food have been good. Let’s keep supporting our local club.

In September, we will have a wild game day. We will be serving some of our favorite wild game dishes for a freewill donation of money and/or non-perishable food or paper products, which will be donated to the food pantry. 100% will go to our community. If you can help by donating cooked wild game or fish, it will be appreciated, so please let us know.

A few of us will attend the Vietnam Veterans Reunion in Kokomo the third weekend in September. If anyone is interested in going to this, please let us know and we will try to arrange transportation.

In closing, I want to remind everyone that this is our (all of us) Club. Let’s work together to make it the best that it can be.
