Looks like winter is upon us. I hope everyone is being safe and staying warm.

In November we had Ham and Scalloped Potatoes with Green Beans for our Wednesday Night meal. Thanks to Betty DeBolt for preparing that. We also had the Thanksgiving Dinner/Casino Night. Thanks to all the ladies that helped in the kitchen and some that helped spin the wheel. Thanks to the Ford’s for their entertainment, they donated their time.

In December we had Brats and Kraut for our Wednesday Night meal, which was prepared by my husband and I. Hope everyone enjoyed it! We also had the Adult Christmas Party. There were some good gifts, thanks to Kenny Spencer and the Men’s Auxiliary for the wonderful party. Thanks to M&M Sound for the Karaoke, we had a blast!

Thanks to Bonnie Hall and all her helpers that have kept up on the decorations for Thanksgiving and Christmas, they club always looks wonderful! If you see Bonnie ask her if she needs help for Valentine’s Day, the more helpers the easier it is.

There will be a Prime Rib Dinner on New Year’s Eve. Spirit band will be providing the entertainment. Come out and enjoy the New Year with us!

On January 12th Linda Dickson will be making Beef and Noodles and Mashed Potatoes. On February 16th Carolyn Mortimore will be making meatloaf and baked potatoes. Come out and support the Auxiliary!

Marshmallow Creme Fudge

3 cups sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
3/4 stick butter
1 jar marshmallow creme
1 bag of chocolate or peanut butter chips
Chopped nuts if desired

Put Sugar, Butter and Evaporated Milk in saucepan.  Bring to a roiling boil.  Boil for 5 minutes while stirring constantly.  After 5 minutes, remove from heat, stir in chocolate or peanut butter chips, marshmallow creme and chopped nuts.  Stir until creamy.  Pour into a greased 13×9 pan and let sit up.  Cut into squares and enjoy!
