Coming SoonDear Sisters,

We are starting a new year at the VFW.  Hopefully I can help in someway to make it a good year.  If all the members enjoy coming to the club as much as I do, it will be a busy year.

Thank you Bonnie Hall for doing a tremendous job selling pull tabs every Wednesday night.  I enjoy seeing your smiling face.

Mary Deter is fixing and selling hot dogs on Saturdays from 10 until 2 as she always has.  Stop by and tell her how much we appreciate her dedication and have a luscious coney dog while you are there.

A big thank-you for all the ladies who donated their goodies for our bake sale in May.  This was the biggest we have ever had.  Thanks to Betty DeBolt, Gladys Neal, Sara Elliott and Diane Nichter for overseeing this event.

A special thank you to Carol Cory for her ideas and hard work at making the military patch display, and then donating it to the post through the Ladies Auxiliary.

Our meeting in July is on Thursday, the fourteenth.  A crowd would be wonderful.

Don’f forget to pray for our servicemen.  Till next time have a great summer.

Marcia Smith
Ladies Auxiliary President
