Comrades & Sisters:

Well, another year has passed us by and I don’t know where the time has gone. The older we get, the faster time goes.

I want to thank our Post Officers, Ladies Auxiliary, Men’s Auxiliary and all members for making it a very successful year. We are very thankful to have Kim in our office and our great bartenders. Without good people, it would be hard to run the club.

If you haven’t paid your dues for 2013, please do so as soon as possible so we can reach our 100% membership. Every member needs to work on signing someone up for membership to our Post. It’s a lot of work for just a couple of people to make sure we get our membership to 100%, so please step up and help us sign new people up. You will need your new membership card to get served at the club after December 31st.

We just insulated our new roof and I want to thank Home Depot for giving us $3,600.00 to do the insulation plus sending 4 people to help.

I would like to thank Brent Cox Construction for paying two of his people to help with the insulation. I also, want to thank Jerry Brady and Chip Hall for their work on the insulation project. It took us 6½ hours to do this project. Our building is 60 feet wide and 120 feet iong, so we ended up with a 30R factor. This will make a big difference not only in heating but cooling in the summer.

We just had our adult Christmas party and it was a great success. The Men’s Auxiliary was in charge and they did a great job. I would also like to thank all members who brought in all the great food.

Thanks for the great year.

May God Bless all of you!

Jim McClure
