Comrades & Sisters:

It’s hard to believe that it is March already and winter is just about behind us. I’ve been in Florida the past six weeks and I want to thank the other officers and members for keeping the Club running so good.

Our Club just seems to be doing so good and that’s the way we like it. We need to have everyone work on recruiting new members for our Post as we are on track to become an All American Post again this year.

We sure lost a good friend in Don Moore this past January and all that he and his radio station did for our Club and for our community.

Our Ladies Auxiliary did a great job on the Valentine’s supper, as always. We hope to get more bands and entertainment for our Club this year.

Kim Dillon is doing a great job in the office, CC and other bartenders are doing a great job at the bar. Our officers are grateful for all of their hard work.

Looking forward, May 17th and 18th will be our Poppy Sale dates. This is a major fund raiser for the Post and its auxiliaries. Please consider joining us in making this a successful event for the Francis Vinyard VFW Post 2749!

Please be sure to stop out at the Club and support the many activities. Hope to see you there.

May God Bless all of you!
