Comrades and Sisters:

This is my last newsletter as Commander of our Post. I don’t know where these past two years have gone, but I want to thank all the members for allowing me to be your Commander. I will still be working around the Post helping Ron Coleman with his new duties as Commander of our Post.

We have a great membership and officers who truly love this Post, so we will be continuing to do good things for our veterans and their families.

We have poppy sales on May 10th and 11th, so be sure to help the Post out by signing up to help.

I’m looking forward to a great year here at the Post under the new direction of Commander Ron Coleman.

The Waterloo Post 6572 is closing their doors, due to lack of interest and help at the Post. I went to their Post meeting on April 13th and told them that we would be glad to have them as members in our Post. They took a vote and decided to transfer all their membership to our Post. So at this time, I would like to welcome them into our Post.

May God Bless you all,

Jim McClure
